I am on ubuntu 13.04 using wine 1.6, and I am trying to play nox online. when I try to login It tells me "Timed out connecting to westwood online. Check your connection and/or modem cables.". I have not had problems connecting on windows, so I think it might be related to wine. Everything else seems to work perfectly with wine however, so it could also be a general problem connecting to XWIS. I typed in a bunch of different usernames, and even changed the Wolapi.dll. nothing has worked yet.
EDIT:
Nevermind, it started working now for some reason.

I found on my computer that if you use numbers or symbols (instead of letter characters) it would not connect.
