I can't get ingame

I played this game some years ago when I was a kid, and I was excited for a chance to play it again. I got the game to work everything is running except for one small problem. I can't start a game.  Whether solo or multiplayer or anything, I select a class, go into the customization, menu then try to hit "Accept" and... nothing. Nothing happens, the game acts like I didn't do anything, except I can't back out of the menu now, none of the buttons respond except for the customization ones. 

I downloaded the game from the "Easier NoX Download" thread and installed it on my Windows 7 64-bit system without trouble. What do? Has this ever happened to you guys?

This happens to me sometimes, nox randomly deletes my map folder and I cant do anything. To see if this is the problem just go to your nox folder and see if you actually have any maps. I know this may not be the problem but if it is all you have to do is download a "chat" map and then you can play again.
