NoXPacker has been updated today to allow the exporting of every image file from the video.bag to a local folder path titled NoXImages in .JPG format.
Does it mean that it is not capable of extraction any other .bag files/formats?
Thank you.

Which formats are you interested in besides video.bag? I believe NoxTools already has a way to extract audio.bag.

Noxtools does a full dump of audio.bag, no editing or single file export though I'm afraid
Noxpacker is mainly a thing.bin to/from XML converter, the image dump was added as a favor.
NoXModSuite has a video.bag editor (somewhat) and all of the rest of the .bins are editable in it.
Really all the tools should be combined but I'm not too worried about it since they aren't used that much and really aren't that hard to figure out.

Meh, there are only three - images, video, video8.
I thought there would be a bag with "system" files - including global variables, quests, scripts, spells, skills.
I guess I ought to look somewhere else.
*Edit
Fixed typo

Well here is a little break down.
Video.bag: Images for the game, including all menus, animations, and HUDs
Audio.bag: All of the non music sound files for the game
Thing.bin: All of the general item data for every object in the game
Modifier.bin: Item by item modifier attributes and enchantments (weapon damage, type, description)
Gamedata.bin: Global variables and settings for the game
Monster.bin: Monster specific item attributes and properties (health, type, damage ect ect)
nox.csf: The string library, contains every dialog and text in the game

I think you ought to put that info in a sticky somewhere. I assume I am not the first one looking for this kind of info.
I made some basic changes as a proof of concept using the NoXModSuite. I'll test them tonight once the family is sound asleep.

I would not want to hijack this thread for this discussion, but those are probably map-specific scripts.
I meant general scripts that calculate various things and govern the AI.
I will check it out anyway, thanks.

Nox is a decade old, you won't find external scripts for AI or even most of the interactions in the game.

I'm using English version of Windows XP but new packer still has a problem with me.
Can you please update it? or release the source if it doesn't bother you?
In HKLM\Software\Westwood\Nox
InstallPath is C:\Westwood\Nox\Nox.EXE
Thank you.

You are using the packer I uploaded for the koreans then, you'll need to play it in the actual directory for that one.

You are using the packer I uploaded for the koreans then, you'll need to play it in the actual directory for that one.
I downloaded both version.
First version can unpack images (new one i guess).
Second version is built for koreans which checks directory/or file(i don't know).
I tried the both version.
Second version is working really good but, it only unpacks XML files.
I actually need to unpack images to use it on my Nox page.
If you have time, can you update the korean version or add a directory check to First version? please.

when i try to unpack all the images, it says "loading image libraries, loaded 0 sections" but then just crashes. it creates a folder called "NoxImages" but it's empty. Tried running it in different compatibilities and as administrator but it doesn't dump the images. any ideas?
