I made some pics so it's easier to understand how tiles are blended according to the directions you enter.

Ok here it is: (sticky/pin this if ya want)


The 3 by 3 tile button doesnt work in the newest version so ignore it (unless you have 7.1). Base tile is what makes up a single floor tile completely if you dont have edges.



I hope all in that pic makes sence. A single tile can have 4 different blends yes but 4 is overdoing it sometimes.

Hers's an example of a design with SOME tiles explained:



Switching base tiles will end up in a different blend unless you change the dirrection to fit it. HOWEVER many edges (like the on in the pic above) will look very different. Just try it and you'll see.
